Tonight we watched one of my favorite episodes, titled The Devil's Mark. It contains the pivotal scene where Claire tells Jamie that she is from the future. This episode had so much going on: a witch trial, where witnesses were making stuff up just so Claire would be out of their lives, a revelation that Claire was not the only time traveler in town, Claire's return to the standing stones and her emotional decision over which husband to choose. Of course, we already knew who she was going to choose, otherwise the series would be over already.

So now we only have to wait five months or so until the show returns for the second season. Thankfully, I have a friend who has the Starz channel. This is one show I don't want to miss!
Did the second season ever start? I was watching last year and kind of lost interest when the wait was so long between the first and second parts of the season. It's not like the old days of MacGyver and JAG where you had 22 episodes between September and May.
ReplyDeleteThe second season is supposed to start in April. I was fortunate that I got into Outlander right when the second half of the first season was about to start up again. I would have been really annoyed, too. I got a free Starz weekend so I got to binge watch the first half. Then I went out and bought the book to find out what happened next. That kept me going. My friend had Starz so I got to go over and watch it with her. Now my husband and I will both be going over to watch the next season with her.
