Waves In My Head

I've been picturing rolling waves in my mind's eye. I think my next story will be about pirates.

I've always loved stories about pirates and old sailing ships, so long as the pirates are the heroes. I obviously don't like real life pirates. I don't like to read about serious pain and suffering. I want my heroes to triumph with the least amount of agony possible.

I love happy endings. Sure you need struggle and strife, but it doesn't have to be horrific. Well, that is unless you're writing horror.
